Jewish Partners
Conserving Energy in Our Homes & Synagogues
As partners in caring for Creation, Indiana synagogues, kehillot, and student organizations will model how gleaning deep energy savings is simple and cost-effective. These Jewish institutions pledge to:
- reduce energy use in Jewish institutions by 25% or more and
- engage at least a third of their households to do the same.
These Jewish institutions will free up funds for other worthy purposes, strengthen their communities, and know that they are walking their talk of caring for G-d’s gift of Creation. Together, they will inspire a difference in how American Jews steward this magnificent gift.
Creation Care Partners is supported with a comprehensive set of tools and resources, technical expertise, and peer support.

When you besiege a city for many days to wage war against it to capture it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an ax against them, for you may eat from them, but you shall not cut them down. Deuteronomy 20: 19
